For weeks I have been annoying retailers to see what their plans for Force Friday were! Well, Force Friday’ is now only one week away, and guess who has all the details!
The global launch of merchandise inspired by the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens film will officially hit shelves at Disney Stores and other retailers on Friday, Sept. 4 at 12:01 a.m.
THERE ARE IRISH LAUNCH EVENTS PLANNED!
By attending a launch party on Friday September 4th, you will be first to see all the new toys collectibles gadgets apparel and more! A select number of Irish retailers will be opening their doors for a special 12:01am event to unveil the new range!

Supposedly SEVEN Smyths stores will open across Ireland (4 Confirmed below)
Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Galway
Even Better! The first 50 fans in line at smythswill receive a free poster and other activities
The Finer Details
The flagship event for Ireland will be held at Disney Store on Grafton Street, where fans- Hopefully - in fancy dress can start lining up from 20:30, There will be plenty of fun and games to entertain fans including exclusive giveaways leading up to the midnight launch. At 12:01 a.m., the Disney Store will open its doors for fans to experience the brand new line-up of Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise – with an exclusive theme pin and EVEN MORE in store giveaways, as well as an in-store competition and product demos.

Disney have also announced that a very special preview show will be broadcast on the official Star Wars YouTube channel where viewers will get exclusive sneak peek at the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens product line! The broadcast will go live on September 2nd beginning at 9:45pm (GMT) and will broadcast for over 18 hours, taking in 15 cities and 12 countries with the UK and Ireland penned for a live slot at 10:30am on September 3rd.
The entire range of new products will be available online at www.disneystore.ie, starting 12:01 a.m. on 4th September.
